Mr. Eller has 30 years of experience as an architectural draftsman. From 1984 to 1989 Mr. Eller served at Junck and Walker Architects where he gained a firm understanding of construction documents and detailing while working on a variety of building and renovation projects for the U.S. Navy and Postal Service as well as the Duval and St. Johns County School District. From 1989 to 1996 Mr. Eller was employed as a cad technician for the firm of Hugo S. Thorsen Architects, Inc.where he worked with Thomas Duke on projects for Gran Central Corp, Nemours Children’s Clinics, Health and Children’s clinics for the Alfred I. DuPont Institute, the U.S. Army, Navy and Postal Services and the Corps of Engineers. Projects at Ft. Benning, Ga. included renovations to an aircraft hangar, revitalization of the Audie Murphy Gym, renovations and hazardous materials abatement to 28 family housing units, a gymnastic annex to Bldg. 1055, renovations to 7 N.C.O. Academy buildings and remodeling of the base bowling alley snack bar. Other projects included renovations and asbestos abatement to Moniac USARTC and Screws USARTC in Montgomery AL. as well as renovations to Opelika USARTC, Opelika, AL. From 1996 to 1999 Mr. Eller worked as a design cad technician for Rolland, DelValle & Bradley Architects working with Microstation 95 (Intergraph) on projects including renovations to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, the Florida Department of Health, and the University of North Florida. Mr. Eller joined BKM Architects, Inc. in 1999 where he worked with Jay Chung and served as a senior design cad technician focusing primarily on government projects including new buildings and renovations for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Federal courts. Major projects included the S.O.F. Vehicle Maintenance Facility at Fort Bragg, NC, C-130 Hanger at Moody Air Force Base, GA, Afloat Training Group Facility at Naval Station Mayport, FL, and renovations to Building H-2004(hospital) at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL and a five level parking garage for the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. Mr. Eller has been with Thomas Duke Architect, PA since 2004 as a senior design technician and project manager where he has utilized his widespread knowledge and understanding of building construction and computer aided design. He was the project manager for the renovations to 11,575 S.F. of the Orlando Immigration Court at the George C. Young Federal Building, Orlando, FL, where five new courtrooms and judicial offices were added. Mr. Eller also managed the addition of a new sandblast and paint facility for Ringpower Corporation, Jacksonville and Temple Baptist Fellowship Hall. Mr. Eller has worked on projects including Hanson Roof Tile, Inc., Synovus Bank of Jacksonville and Springs Center, a seven-story mixed use project outside of Atlanta, Ga. Mr. Eller has worked on several liturgical projects previous to his time with Thomas Duke Architect, PA including numerous buildings for the Diocese of St. Augustine – The Catholic Church of North Florida in Jacksonville and surrounding areas.
