St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Mission Church – Campus Expansion
Located in Yulee, Florida, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church is undertaking a significant relocation and expansion to a new site within the Wildlight development, off Franciscan Way. This multi-phase campus master plan is guided by a vision to create a cohesive and enduring spiritual community presence, anchored in thoughtful design and architectural unity. Phase II of the project introduces two new ground-up structures: a 3,837 square foot Administration Building and a 14,794 square foot Multipurpose Building, supporting both parish operations and community gathering functions. These new facilities will join the existing Early Learning Center already on site, with careful attention to architectural language, scale, and materiality to ensure a harmonious campus environment.

These new facilities will join the existing Early Learning Center already on site, with careful attention to architectural language, scale, and materiality to ensure a harmonious campus environment. Future phases will include the design and construction of a covered Pavilion and a permanent Church building, establishing a complete worship and community campus. The design intent throughout all phases is to foster a welcoming, spiritually grounded setting that supports the parish’s growth, ministry, and outreach—while maintaining a unified architectural expression rooted in tradition and place.
